About the role:
This role will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, managing cash flow, developing financial strategies & processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can contribute both strategically and operationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable to drive strategic financial planning by preparing forecasts and analyzing cash flow trends and budgets.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Work closely with leadership to forecast and evaluate financial risks and assist in the budget management for long-term financial plans.
- Responsible for overall financial reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports for investors, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in fundraising efforts, including financial modelling, due diligence, and presenting to investors.
- Establish KPIs to monitor financial performance and drive efficiency.
- Maintain oversight of cash flow, managing working capital to support growth.
- Establish policies to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CA, or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years in finance roles, with experience in a CA firms, or start-up or high-growth environment preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
